Sorry I can't help you there - I'm a writer, not an artist. I wonder if some of the excellent artists on this forum could assist you in coloring techniques and/or technical processes.

The DragonSnail has a tutorial here if that helps. I am also not an artist in the slightest (can't even make stick men Razz) but I love DS's results & I believe she begins with hand-drawn sketches (though I could be wrong).
