Ive finally busted out the pencil again to do some drawings of people in my guild in Everquest. They're not perfect, but satisfactory for the intended purpose. Enjoy!!
Rogue Raidleader
Guild half elf warrior named Swag
Guild lead cleric named Xlinya (submitted this for her approval before continuing to the final result
And what it ended up looking like
Ranger officer (in progress, final result should be done tonight)

Simply lovely.
The third picture, teh High elf cleric, maybe its just me and I can't cock my head to the correct angle, but, something about the angle of her head and her body doesn't seem to line up right for me.
She is beautiful though, and the ranger's picture!! The detail on his armor dazzles me. I think I spent a solid five minutes just admiring that alone!

Its most likley because i dont have a scanner and im digitizing the pictures with my camera. Getting a picture without invading shadows can be difficult at best, as you can see with the (viewer) left of the shield. Thats probably a shadow cast by my hand holding the camera. There's three lights on the picture, but still its not perfect.

Just this, an older one that the people that view this board didnt like as much.

Oh yeah! I remember that. I thought your style looked familiar I liked the FV drawing. iirc correctly when you posted it, it turned into an "elf ears" discussion & I think someone said she looked too young. Or something. I found it a nice interpretation. _________________

Wow, great drawings - you have captured the feeling of each of the classes, I think. I'm partial to the half-elf warrior - the scars, the battle experience, all pictured clearly. But I like them all - and I'm with Vexie, I don't see why they didn't like the older one. This is not about ears, in my opinion. Good work, Zerkea! _________________ www.fantasyfic.com

How did you do the detail on the ranger's armor? That's simply phenomenal! I must know your secret! _________________

By hand! haha. I basically did the outline in the sketch, and then made very small (the drawing is 18x11) drooping scales basically in a uuuu shape, and then moved them over halfway for the next line, and continued that way. Then i went over each and every one of them and colored in a dark spot at the top of the 'u' so it looked more like a chain link

Actually, did collect some of Jim Lee's comic books back when i was a teenager (late 90s). I really enjoyed his renditions of Gen13 back when i was into that. I think my biggest influences have been Campbell, Lee, and Booth
